Flash Days for tattoo artists

One date. Timed slots. Designs clients can grab with a deposit. Here is how Flash Days work on Studio Haven.

What a Flash Day is

A Flash Day is a single-date event: you pick the designs, set timed slots, and open booking morning of a date you choose (or publish live now). Clients choose a piece, claim a time, and pay a deposit. Slots update as they fill. It is built for first-come flash drops, not for your normal weekly calendar.

Why artists run them

  • Clear scarcity: one day, limited times, designs go as they go
  • Deposit locks the slot so no-shows hurt less
  • Works with Stripe or Square the same way as regular flash booking
  • Share one link for the whole drop or a single Flash Day page

How to set one up in Studio Haven

  1. Upload the designs in Art with deposits set (sheets with multiple pieces are not supported on Flash Day yet)
  2. Open Flash days in the admin sidebar
  3. Create a day, set the event date, and choose when booking opens (morning of a date)
  4. Add designs to the pool and/or pin a design to a specific time
  5. Build the slot grid, then schedule or publish
  6. Copy the public link into Instagram, stories, or your studio page

Exact open-hour scheduling is coming soon. Today, scheduled days open morning of the date you choose in the studio timezone.

How clients book

On the public Flash Day page they browse the art, pick a time, confirm name and email, and pay the deposit. Stripe and Square both work. If they cancel checkout, the slot hold releases so someone else can take it.

Flash Days are included with Studio Haven Pro (CA$15 / US$15 per month). No separate add-on. See the FAQ for more, or start a draft studio.
