Hi! My name is Alex and I’m a tattooist among other things on Vancouver Island. I work at the sweet little tattoo shop in Nanaimo called Wander and Whim with a wonderful community of artists. We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive space for all bodies, all people. As an artist I have worn many hats. Tattoo, gardening, and everyday carpentry being the newest to my repertoire. I’ve been a musician my whole life, now producing and composing with machines, a classical singer, a drummer, a low-key athlete, a print-maker, but above all a dreamer with enough delusion that I can create art with life itself. I have been a resident artist at Wander and Whim now three years now and want to express my gratitude to all the clients that have come through the door and have shared in the experience of being tattooed.
