Calendly alternative for lash artists
Calendly is a capable product, but it was not designed around lash set work. Here is where that shows, and what a lash set-first platform does differently.
Where Calendly falls short
Lash work lives or dies on the fill cycle. Generic schedulers treat every appointment as one-off, so retention depends on you remembering who is due, and a missed fill is a lost client rather than a rebooking.
Calendly is built for meetings. There is no service menu, no deposit at booking, and no way to model a fill that depends on when the last set was applied.
Studio Haven vs Calendly at a glance
- Fill cadence tracking with automatic reminders when a client is due
- Service menu with per-set pricing rather than one flat appointment type
- Deposit or full prepayment through Stripe Connect
- Client profiles carrying set history, so you know what was applied last time
- Aftercare and retention emails sent without you chasing
- Loyalty tracking for regulars
What Calendly does well
Calendly is the best link-in-bio scheduler there is, and for consultations or free intro calls it is hard to beat. Plenty of artists keep it for exactly that and run paid work elsewhere.
The point of this page is not that Calendly is a bad product. It is that it was built for a different job than lash set work, and the gap shows up in the parts of the week that cost you the most time.
What switching actually involves
There is nothing to migrate from Calendly beyond the link itself, because it never held your client history. Swap the link in your bio and pin the new storefront, and you are done in an afternoon.
What it costs
Studio Haven is free for the artist. There is no monthly subscription and no card required to start. Clients pay a small fee at checkout, and deposits settle directly into your own Stripe account rather than sitting with a platform. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Try it before you move anything
Open the live demo studio and book against it as a client, deposit included, without creating an account. When it looks right, start free and move your work across at your own pace. More comparisons are in the guides index.
Switch without the monthly bill
Free forever for artists. Built for lash artists, with deposits, fill cadence tools, and your own storefront.
